No, not at all. BLUE RIBBON is open to all individuals looking for beautiful items for their home. We welcome you to use our service and purchase items as you wish however, please be aware that your order will not qualify for a complimentary bridal delivery.

Do I need to create an account before starting a wedding list? 

Yes. You will need to create an account in order to save your wedding list and share it with your guests. Creating an account is simple, easy and free. We will require personal details from you, but will never share them with a third party. 

 

How do I create a wedding list?

After browsing an item online you will be given an option to add it to your wedding list. This list can be kept private until you are ready to share it with your guests. Creating a list enables you to handpick the items you want, and gives your guests a variety of options to choose from. 

 

I need helping choosing my gifts - what should I do?

Choosing a wedding list, whether big or small, can be daunting as it is natural to feel overwhelmed by choice. To help with this, we have carefully curated some example wedding lists designed to give inspiration. We also welcome you to set up an appointment with an interiors stylist, stylist@blueribboncompany.com, to talk through your needs in order to guide you towards a final decision. 

 

When should I create my gift list?

You can open and close a gift list at any time however, we recommend that you open a list as soon as possible to give your guests enough time to choose a gift.

 

How many gifts should I include on my list? 

Offering a variety of options is well received as it gives your family and friends a greater flexibility of choice. There is, however, no minimum or maximum amount of items per list.

If you would like your guests to be able to contribute toward a higher value item we will set this up on your list for you.

 

Can I change an item on my list?

Yes. It is natural to experience a change of heart over an item during your engagement. You can amend your list as much as you wish prior to closing. 

 

What should I do once my list is complete?

We will be in touch with you to discuss your complimentary insert card options as soon as you have registered for a list with us. These insert cards are designed to accompany your wedding invitation and notify your guests about your list at BLUE RIBBON. If you would prefer to begin notifying your guests prior to sending out invitations, you can share your list immediately online via the website or with a direct link that you can place on your wedding website or in an email.

 

Can I make my list private?

Yes. If you choose to make your list private, your insert cards will include a unique Registry ID which only guests can use to access your list and purchase gifts. If you choose to keep your list public, guests will be able view your list by searching for your surname.  

 

Can I share my list online?

Yes. Once you have completed your list, navigate to “Manage my List” and click on ‘Annouce Wedding List’ from the drop down bar on your left. Here you will be given the option to share your list via social media or by email. If you would like to add your list to your personal wedding website, simply copy the link shown in the message box and post it to your site.

Do I have to purchase the remaining items from my gift list? 

No. You are under no obligation to purchase any items that remain ungifted. 

We do, however, offer couples a 10% discount on all future purchases to keep this opportunity open to you.

 

When do you close my gift list?

Couples can either partially close their list prior to the wedding to receive selected gifts, or close their list after the wedding to organise a complete delivery. 

 

  MY GIFTS

 

Can I view my gifts in person before I make my decision?

Due to the online nature of our service, we do not have a showroom. The curated collection of items at BLUE RIBBON are hand selected from luxury brands of unrivalled quality. If you would like further information about an item or brand, a member from our experienced team of stylists will be on hand to discuss this. 

 

Can I have my gifts delivered before the wedding?

Yes. An important part of our service is to make this process as smooth as possible for you. 

 

Can I exchange or return my gifts?

Yes. You can change your selection at any point prior to closing your wedding list and placing the order with us. Once you have received your gifts, you are still entitled to return and exchange items, with the exception of specially ordered, bespoke or monogrammed and engraved items. You will be responsible for the cost of delivery of returns and for ensuring that the returns are adequately packaged and insured to the full value of the item. For hygiene reasons, we cannot accept the returns of bedding items if the packaging has been opened. Will my items arrive gift wrapped?

Yes, of course. Each gift is individually wrapped in exquisite BLUE RIBBON packaging and will include a gift card printed with a message from your guest.

How can I change my details?

Simply sign into your account, click the ‘Edit’ button underneath ‘Account Details’ and alter your information.

 

I’ve forgotten my password  - what should I do?

Please click on ‘Forgotten Password’ and enter your email address. We will send you an email with a link to reset your password. 

 

  DELIVERY

 

How do I arrange a delivery?

You may arrange a delivery of your gifts once your list has been closed. 

If you intend to receive some gifts prior to the wedding, you may do so by by partially closing your list and can discuss this option further by contacting a consultant from our team. 

 

How long will it take to deliver my order? 

Please allow 2-12 weeks for delivery following the closure of your list due to the exclusive nature of our products. 

For custom-ordered, bespoke, monogrammed or engraved items, please allow 12-16 weeks following list closure. 

The exact delivery time of any item is specified on its product page. 

 

How much does delivery cost?

All deliveries within the UK, including multiple destinations and staggered deliveries, are free of charge. 

For orders to destinations within the EU, and orders above £5,000 to other international locations, we offer one single shipment free of charge.  

If you are purchasing from BLUE RIBBON independent from a Wedding List please be aware that your order will incur a delivery charge. All delivery costs are outlined on the ‘Delivery & Returns’ section of our website. 

 

Do you deliver internationally?

Yes, we ship internationally. For orders above £5,000 we offer one single shipment free of charge.

Deliveries to locations outside of the EU may qualify for a Tax Rebate but may also be subject to certain Duties. 

 

Will BLUE RIBBON deliver to multiple addresses?

Yes, you can specify an address for each separate delivery at the time of placing your order online and you can discuss this option further by contacting a consultant from our team. 

 

How can I track my order?

Once a shipment of your items has been dispatched you will receive a tracking number. We work with only the most reputable shipping carriers to ensure that your gifts are in safe hands. 

 

Will my delivery be insured?

Yes. All BLUE RIBBON deliveries are packed with meticulous care and stay in the charge of only the most reputable shipping carriers to ensure that your gifts are in safe hands. If you choose to return an item, shipping and insurance becomes the responsibility of the sending party.

What is your returns & refunds policy?

If you would like to return an item you must contact us for a returns authorisation number. 

You have 14 calendar days (from the date you receive delivery) to return your items and you must provide proof of postage. We offer refund or exchange, or credit redeemable for up to 1 year from the date it is issued.

How does it work?

A couple will use the BLUE RIBBON service to create a list of beautiful gifts they would like to receive in celebration of their marriage, before sharing it with their friends and family. 

 

How can I view a wedding list? 

A couple’s wedding invitation may be accompanied by a BLUE RIBBON insert card informing you of the couple’s registration at BLUE RIBBON. 

If a couple has chosen to keep their list private, the card will include a unique Registry ID which will allow you to view their list on our website. If a wedding list is public, you will be granted access by searching their surname. 

Alternatively, a couple may also share their list by email or social media using a link that will take you directly to their wedding list on the BLUE RIBBON website.

 

When can I view the wedding list?

The couple’s list will be available to view online at any time, anywhere, and will update automatically to ensure that guests do not buy duplicate items. 

 

Do I need to create an account to view gifts or place an order?

No, you can purchase gifts or place an order without creating an account.

 

Is my personal information kept private?

Yes, completely. We will never share your details with a third party.

 

How will the couple know that I have bought them a gift?

While purchasing an item you will be given the option to write a message to the couple which will be printed on luxury BLUE RIBBON stationery and included in the delivery of your gift.

How do I buy a gift?

To add an item to your shopping bag, click ‘ Gift Item’ next to the item description. 

Once ready to make a purchase, select ‘Shopping Bag’ to view all items in your bag.  

 

Do I have to buy a gift or can I purchase a gift card?

If you would prefer to leave the choice open to the couple, we offer several  gift card options that can be redeemed up to 1 year after purchase. 

 

Can I contribute towards a large item?

Yes, we offer bespoke gift cards redeemable up to 1 year. 

 

Can I view gifts in person before purchasing?

Unfortunately at this time we can only accept payment in British pounds.
